Music for the First Half of the ArticleZyuden Sentai Kyoryuger is the 37th program in the Super Sentai franchise, scheduled to air from 2013 to 2014. It is the third dinosaur-themed instalment in the franchise, following Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger and Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger.
A long time ago, in the age of the dinosaurs, the Earth came under attack by an alien force known as the Deboss Army. However, they were defeated by a team of dinosaurs given supernatural powers, and sealed within the polar ice caps. Torin, the divine mentor of the heroes, stored the souls of these brave dinosaur warriors in capsules so that their power could be called upon if the threat of the Deboss ever returned.
Now in the modern age, a new team of humans are scouted by Torin to fight against the revived Deboss Army. Defeating their partner dinosaurs in single combat to earn their trust and respect, these chosen are granted their awesome prehistoric power and the ability to become the new generation of heroes, the Kyoryuger.

Daigo "King" Kiryu/Kyoryu RedThe Hero, A wild and gallant 20-year-old man who has a unique quality to be able to charm anyone into becoming his friend. His signature move is the Rock-Violent Punch. A decade ago, he traveled the world with his father Dantestu before he was left with his father's amber pendant and a handful of money. Though given the choice to return to Japan, Daigo sought to instead follow in his father's footsteps and continue to travel the world. When his journey brought him to an island in the south seas, fighting a group of Zorima, Daigo receives his Gaburevolver from Torin and battles Gabutyra for a month to tame him. Though he succeeds, Daigo is only able to become Kyoryu Red.

Ian Yorkland/Kyoryu BlackOne of the two Smart Guys, a cheerful 23-year-old cassanova whose bright and dry wit personality hides a tragic past. He was originally an archaeologist who lost his treasure hunting best friend Shiro Mifune in Europe during the Deboss Army's initial attack when they were looking for a stone from a lost civilization. Surviving the ordeal, Ian was found by Torin and defeated the Zyudenryu Parasagun to become Kyoryu Black. He originally was distant from the other Kyoryugers until Daigo enabled him to overcome the trauma he suffered from Shiro's death and become friends with his teammates.

Nobuharu Udo/Kyoryu BlueThe Big Guy, a 32-year-old the hardworking and optimistic handyman who defeated the Zyudenryu Stegotchi during a trip to an ice field and gained its power to become Kyoryu Blue. Previously a salaryman, Nobuharu moved in with his sister, Yuko, and his niece, Rika, after the untimely death of Yuko's husband, Kenichi, and took over the operations of Kenichi's Jack-of-All-Trades. His peers have taken to calling him "Nossan", much to his dismay. He has a penchant for doing comedy jokes, which his brother-in-law enjoyed, but usually makes his teammates groan. Originally, Nobuharu was reluctant to fight as he worried about his family getting caught in the crossfire. However, Daigo convinces Nobuharu that protecting his family is a strength rather than a weakness.

Souji Rippukan/Kyoryu GreenOne of the two Smart Guys, a 16-year-old cool-headed high school student who is member of the Rippukan House, a family of swordsmen who have been practicing the martial arts since the anchient times. Though he respects his father and what his father wants him to be, Souji rdislikes his father for driving his mother away and is uncertain of what he wants to do with his life. As a form of defiance to his father, Souji defeated the Zyudenryu Zakutor in a bamboo thicket to become Kyoryu Green and soon developed a more feral fighting style, adopting a backhand grip which later became his personal sword. Though distant at first, Souji eventually joins the team when Daigo resolves things between him and his father.

Amy Yuzuki/Kyoryu PinkAmy Yuuzuki is an 18-year-old college student who is from a wealthy family. She defeated the Zyudenryu Dricera while still living in the United States and gained its power to become Kyoryu Pink. Though she has a personal butler named Gentle who accommodates her needs, Amy works a part-time job at the Tiger Boy family restaurant. She sometimes uses English words when she becomes excited or surprised. Gentle refers to her as "Miss Amy". As she is from a rich upbringing, her original headstrong personality is often suppressed by Gentle's incessant lectures on grace and elegance of character. She, however, reveals to Gentle of her true nature after defeating a handful of Zorima. Amy has a secret that only Souji currently knows of: she can use her feet as if they are a second pair of hands, a skill ironically obtained due to laziness instead of hard work.
Music for the Second Half of the ArticleThe Villians are The Deboss Army, An alien race created from the cells of the giant creature known as "Deboss". They invaded Earth millions of years ago, only to be defeated by Torin and the Zyudenryu, and sealed into the frozen ice caps. With the thawing of the planet they were freed from their slumber, and now seek to release Deboss from his icy tomb. To do this, they must thaw his frozen heart by gathering three different types of human emotion: Anger, Sadness and Happiness.

Many-Faced High Priest Chaos
The Primary Villian and the Commander in Cheif, Since Deboss is sealed its up to Chaos to formulate plots and schemes to drive the plot.
He takes the success and failures of his generals in stride without a hint of anger. His fair and respectful treatment of Luckyuro, the most childish of the Deboss Army, is probably the most telling sign of his serenity.
he doesn't really do anything, he just leaves the plotting to the Knights and Luckyuro, while letting the Bigger Bad decide whose plan to use. Somewhat justified, though because he is a High Priest, not a Knight or Spy like the others.
He stays in charge after Deboss awakens, giving him commands due to his bosses lack of intelligence
He is highly intelligent and it is clear he is more of a strategist when compared to the much more active Deboss Legion Knights. This can be seen when Dogold explains the plan: First they attack a great Hero's friends. This is all just to make him go into rage. As a result, he is angry enough for Dogold to control his body, but they are eventually sealed with the rest of the Deboss. This was 400 years ago. Next, in present day when they are all free he distracts the Kyoryugers with a debo monster. While the are fighting he unseals one of the most power Zyudenryu: Pterogodon. Due to the fact they have a Zyudenryu under their control they are able to claim the beast as their own. Now, because of this gamble, they had two of the most power warriors on the side of good on their side.
Dogold The Knight of Rage
The Knight in charge of gathering Anger. Dogold is a perpetually-angry solider who is always seeking to vent his frustrations through battle
Chaos' Second In Command and a Living Suit of Armor before possessing Utsusemimaru and is what he probably is now. Later, Chaos created monster and placed Dogold's facemask on him to allow the commander to eat the weaker monster, and gain a body. However both noted that this would last only about a month, to which Chaos simply replies that they'll merely use another Monster.
It seems as though his personality without a body is much calmer and MUCH more evil and vicious. His voice is also much different then it was while the possessed Kyoryuger was inside his armor.
he is a massive Jerk when one of his monsters' plans fails, he angrily kicks him aside, not even checking to see if he's okay before running to fight the Rangers
Chaos seems to rely on him to perform the most important missions, most likely because Dogold can actually focus and not go on silly tangents.
Music for the Third Half of the ArticleAigaron The Knight of Sorrow
The Brute, The Knight in charge of gathering Sadness. Aigaron may seem like a crybaby, but he is a powerful fighter who channels his anguish to propel himself to greater strengths.
Whenever his plans aren't being used, he is usually just used by Dogold and Chaos to beat the snot out of the Kyoryugers.
He seemed to be pretty upset when a particular monster that he liked was destroyed. Then again, it might just be him being his usual self.
Music for the Fourth Half of the ArticleCandelilla The Joyful Knight
The Knight in charge of gathering Happiness. Candelilla is a bouncy and colourful girl who always seems to be in a good mood. Her singing can power up Debo Monsters.
Candelilla is an odd Knight. She's a happy-go-lucky kind of girl, trying to keep her fellow Knight Aigaron happy, she's bright, cheerful, is friends with her subordinate Luckyuro, and her schtick revolves around wanting to make humans happy
Music for the Fith Half of the ArticleLuckyuro The Funfilled Spy
Candelilla's direct subordinate, Luckyuro is a chubby, childish imp who worships Candelilla and delights in following her orders. She has a purse on her belly in which he keeps all manner of things, including the "Nutritious Joyro", a watering can she uses to make Debo Monsters grow to tremendous size.
Dispite being the most silly looking member of the Deboss Army, she also seems to be the most sadistic and she will remain cheerful and peppy even she was attacking Amy in civillian mode for FUN
Music for the Final Half of the ArticleDebossIs the leader of the Deboss Army, but presently frozen and thus Chaos is the acting Big Bad he created he's called the Planetary Illness and can create an entire race of deadly monsters from his cells certainly.
Chaos is his High Priest and all of the Deboss Army was created from his cells.
He still frozen, and the Deboss' primary goal is freeing him and they eventually succeeded
Unfortunately for the Deboss Army, They Screwed up things on their part. Due in part to his heart not fully thawing from a small lack of Joy and Rage.
Deboss has no form of strategy other than "Kill everything" leaving Chaos in charge after his revival and fatally injures one of his own minions for no reason.
Positive emotions such as courage scare him
After being destroyed Deboss implanted his heart into Chaos. This not only allowed his body to survive, albeit back as the Frozen Castle, but he enabled Chaos and Dogold to survive as well. Along with Aigaron, who was saved from his explosion, just like the team was.
