Mahō Sentai Magiranger (Magic Squadron Magiranger) is the twenty-ninth program in the Super Sentai franchise, airing for 2005 to 2006.
The Ozu family, consisting of mother Miyuki and five children, is an ordinary one - until a giant monster attacked them all of a sudden one day. Out of the blue, the mother transformed into a magician and defeated the monster. She then revealed to them that she's actually a magician, and gave them the MagiPhones for the upcoming battles against monsters of Infershia, like the previous one. But not long after, she was defeated in a giant battle against a very powerful enemy of the deep, Wolzard...
The siblings discover a secret room in their house, in which their mother's hologram reveals everything: Years ago, a war broke out between Magitopia - the realm of Heavenly Saints, and Infershia - the Underground Hades Empire. Magitopia won, only by having sacrificed one of their Heavenly Saints who locked Infershia from the inside, who turned out to be the siblings' father. After fifteen years, Infershia has returned to get revenge and unleash havoc on Magitopia and human world. Initially hesitant, the Ozu siblings gradually rose up to defend their world as they discover more of their family's secret legacy. Later on, they are joined by MagiShine/Hikaru/Sungel, a Heavenly Saint who trained under their father and takes it upon himself to train them in turn.

Kai Ozu / Magi Red: The Hero. The youngest child and defacto leader. Immature, a tad loudmouthed and hyperactive. Fiery, if you will. Often quarrels with his brothers. Sword fighter.

Tsubasa Ozu / Magi Yellow: The Samrt Guy. The middle son. Usually not quite enthusiastic. Sometimes a bit stern, which also makes him seems like the Only Sane Man. Uses a bowgun.

Urara Ozu / Magi Blue: The Smart Girl. The middle child. Sharp and nice. She also cares a lot about her siblings. Later falls in love and marries Hikaru

Houka Ozu / Magi Pink: The Load. The eldest daughter. Mature and composed, but also tends to be... a bit "off" from time to time.

Makito Ozu / Magi Green: The Big Guy. The eldest child and Good Ol' Reliable Father Figure. Appropriately uses an axe.

Hikaru / Magi Shine: The New Guy and and the siblings' magic teacher.

.Isamu Ozu / Wolzard Fire: Team Dad literally.
The Main Villians are The Underground Hades Empire Infershia They are from the Kedomono Realm at the center of the Earth, which was ruled by the mysterious N Ma. Fifteen years ago, N Ma created the Hades Gate to send his entire army to Earth, but was stopped by the Heavenly Saint Blagel. N Ma uses his agents to break the seal so he can conquer the surface world. However, over time, some of the Infershians began to realize N Ma's insane obsession of destroying Magitopia and the Ozu Family was reckless due to needless deaths. Once N Ma was destroyed, Hades Goddess Sphinx took over the Infershia to rebuild their world and start anew with Magitopia.
The Members are:
.Absolute God N Ma: The Big bad, A Cosmic Abomination and a Complete Monster. He a dark being described as being made of nightmares and hunger. Even when reduced to a giant eye in a window, he still wields undeniable authority over his minions, and once he does emerge...He rips his way out of the body of a follower who'd turned good and was trying to prevent his rebirth, attacked and destroyed Magitopia in a matter of minutes, destroyed both Blagel and Sungel before dropping their bodies down before the Magirangers, and started consuming time itself to reduce the Earth to a barren, lifeless husk. Oh, and there's also the part where he forcibly brainwashed Magitopia's greatest hero into becoming his most loyal servant.
.General Branken: The Commander, although he had some Big Bad traits when he started off.
.Memmy: Treacherous Subordinate Replaces Branken as The Commander after the latter is Destroyed. Used to be Raigel, one of the Heavenly Saints, but became evil and was turned into a mummy for this. Unsealed along with Hikaru, he constantly proclaims that allying with N Ma allows him to use his magic for his own selfish ambitions, yet is essentially a slave to the dark god's will.
.Vancuria: Queen of the Vampires, unaffected by standard vampire weaknesses.
.Wolzard: Noble Villian and aside from Meemy, the only one in Infershia able to use Magic.
.Infershia Pantheon: A collective of ten Gods of Evil determined to lay waste on the surface world and prepare it for N Ma's coming.
