After a flying saucer is seen landing somewhere in Japan, schoolyard chums Tom and Akio decide to investigate. Fortunately for the both of them, Akio's sister tags along. After a few minutes of traipsing around the woods where they saw the spaceship disappear, lo and behold an open spaceship sits practically beckoning the two boys to come aboard. Apparently pretending to fly a spaceship is just as easy as doing that, because after hitting a button, the boys discover they are taking off. Akio's little sister yells warning of scoldings at the boys, but they can't hear her. Streaking though space the boys are almost flattened by an asteroid, but Gamera comes to their rescue! Soon after, the spaceship (on automatic pilot) ditches Gamera and nearly crash-lands on a distant planet. When the boys awaken, their exploring is interrupted by a Space Gyaos. Space Gyaos' reign of terror is interrupted by the planet's watchdog, Guiron - the legendary knife-headed kaiju. After a quickly amusing slice-and-dice fight, Guiron heads back underground. The boys continue poking around and make their way into the alien base. They meet two alien women who explain that their planet, Terra, was once a technological wonder and they were the only two of their kind left. They also are planning to travel back to Earth with the boys. At least that's what they tell Akio and Tom.

They soon drug the boys and do a little psychic probing - planning to later eat their brains. Somehow, Gamera has tracked the boys to Terra and is attacked by Guiron. Guiron and Gamera have a small bout and Gamera is cast into the sea, hurt badly. The boys escape and through a somewhat comical game of hide and seek, outsmarting the groovy space girls. For some reason Guiron attacks the girls in their spaceship, slicing it in half. Barbella is still alive and decides to make short work of the boys who have ruined her plans. Gamera surfaces and battles Guiron for one last time! The Terran women are killed and Gamera, Akio, and Tom go back to Earth.

[edit] Guiron
Guiron is a Kaiju that appeared in the fifth original Gamera movie, Gamera vs. Guiron, (Known statewise as "Attack of the Monsters"). Due to the lack of distinction in Japanese between the "l" and "r" sounds, Guiron is actually named after the guillotine.

Guiron is an alien monster that normally traverses on all fours, but can also assume a bipedal stance. It is an unusual looking creature, with tough gray skin, a small mouth, sleepy looking eyes and a low, groaning bellow. The most unusual feature of this beast's anatomy, however, is the gigantic blade that it sports on its head, which is nearly as long as its body.

Guiron is mostly a melee oriented kaiju, attacking opponents with its blade. Indeed, this blade is so sharp that it can even cut through Gamera's shell. It also has a reflective surface that can send an enemy kaiju's beam attacks back at its opponent. In addition, there is a circular indent on either side of the blade. Housed within are shuriken that it can apparently launch with some kind of psychokinesis.

Guiron acted as the guard dog of two brain-eating space women, the last of a dead civilization on the planet Terra. The aliens guided him with a mind control device. Guiron proved his combat prowess by effortlessly defeating a Gyaos, reflecting its sonic cutter beam and literally slicing it to pieces with his blade. Guiron later fought Gamera, and nearly killed him as well. After a long fight, Gamera eventually managed to defeat the knife headed beast by flipping him upside down - his blade stuck in the earth - then igniting a missile that had gotten stuck in his circular indents, blowing his head off and killing him.

A parody of Gurion is featured in Dexter's Laboratory.

this film uses too much aliens.
