Not to be redundant, but this noodle like man is nice. Maybe not a saint, but definitely no loner or edgy rebel. They're friendly, psychologically well-balanced, morally Netural Good (if not Lawful Good) and in short, someone anyone wouldn't mind to be around and have as a friend, which is often what they are to the hero and/or his extended cast.
if done right, it can demonstrate why a guy does have a beautiful woman attached to him for a genuine reason, he really is a remarkably wonderful and compassionate person.
Sometimes they are painfully shy and quiet, who walks through the world with their head down and wants nothing more than to blend in with the scenery to avoid all attention because he believes that his presence is worthless or unwanted.
They are romantically attracted This can range from liking his sense of humor, to appreciating his poetry skills, all the way to his will to protect everyone around him. He often tries win the heroine's heart. Immature and hormonal souls may wonder what does she see in him, but the heroine is much more likely to end up happy this way.
Sometimes this noodle like person is madly in love with a someone. But their romantic intrest doesn't seem too interested, so they keep trying, hoping that their romantic intrest will change their mind.
Eaither way no matter how they behave it's quiet heartwarming when they show affection to someone else.
