What is a "Scarysugar world"

A setting which, at first sight, looks nice and cute. The world is full of cheery colors, people are smiling, happy and helpful, and you're probably thinking you've just stepped into a sugar bowl that seriously makes me sick. Suddenly, you notice something wrong, and upon investigating, you realize that every single thing below the surface is horribly wrong and dysfunctional, and that behind the colorful appearance, it's really a Ruined World.

This Scarysugar world might be runed run by a tyrannical government who commits atrocity after atrocity in an increasingly nasty manner, our heroes are treated badly for ultimately minor screw-up, and dispite the world's sugary apperence the entire planet save a single city is conquered, all people have been destroyed.

If you live in a place like this I am honestaly sorry for you.

I mean seriously what is worse living in a care bear-like world filled with no one who is lucid or the fact the place has dark screats.

This can be used for eaither Horror, Drama, or Humor.
